A master's job is never done, it lives on through the ages.

In 1919 the same officers were in the same stations as they were in the previous year. There was no mention of it in the minutes, but one can only assume that World War One was taking its toll on the country and even Clovis Masonic Lodge.

In February of this year the dues of Clovis Lodge were raised from $6.00 per year to $9.00 per year with out opposition. At the same time they voted to give the Secretary a 100 percent raise from $50.00 to $100.00 annually. In May they again bought 2 additional $100.00 Liberty Bonds.

In December of this year there was again discussion of finding a permanent home for Clovis Lodge. They were now renting Hutchison Hall upstairs for a monthly rent of $10.00 which included lights and a janitor. There was not however any mention of a final solution.

In this entire year there were a lot of meetings but not a lot of anything seemed to get done, but one has to remember that they had held their jobs in the Lodge for going on two years straight and they were no doubt starting to wear thin. But Clovis Lodge remained strong and moving forward.
